However, my journey from being a complete novice to landing a job in the tech industry showcases the power of determination, hard work, and the support of an excellent learning community. A Beginning:
My journey began in a small town in Parshuram Municipality, Ward No. 3, Sirsha Dadeldhura, Nepal, where the concept of technology seemed like a distant dream. With no prior exposure to the IT world, and I was initially hesitant to pursue a career in IT field. However, my curiosity and love for coding and keen interest for solving problems eventually led me to take a leap of faith into the unknown.
Stepping into the World of Technology:
Because of family reason I move to Hamburg, Germany in 2019. Germany a country of millions of opportunity, where I found the Digital Career Institute (DCI). It was here that I embarked on my quest to become a skilled coder, fully aware of the challenges that lay ahead.
Despite having no prior experience in coding, I joined to learn and explore this fascinating field. My tech journey began when I enrolled in the “Digital Career Institute” (DCI) located in the vibrant city of Hamburg, Germany.
Overcoming Obstacles:
My Tech journey was not without challenges, but I had a beacon of support in the form of excellent teachers at DCI. The instructors at the DCI were not just mentors; they became my guides, offering valuable insights, patiently answering questions, and igniting passion for technology even further. Their unwavering support helped me gain confidence in my abilities.
DCI helped me to overcome my lack of confidence. In DCI I discovered a network of peers and mentors who encouraged and inspired me to persist. Together, we faced challenges head-on, sharing knowledge and providing valuable insights.
DCI Career Support to the Rescue:
As I completed my coding course at DCI, I faced the next hurdle in this journey – finding a job in the tech industry. Equipped with newfound skills, I sent out 35 applications in pursuit of my dream job. However, the job market was competitive, and I received rejections, which tested my perseverance and confidence.
Despite facing rejections, I did not give up. With the aid of DCI’s career support services, I reworked on my CV and cover letter, showcasing my passion for coding and the skills I had acquired in the DCI. Armed with a well-crafted resume and renewed enthusiasm, I made my 36th job application.
The combination of my technical skills, passion for coding, and the support I received from DCI proved to be the winning formula. My 36th job application led to success, and I finally secured a position in the tech industry. My journey from a complete beginner to a developer was a testament to my dedication and the support of the coding community.
A Continuous Learning Journey:
My journey into the world of technology was not a one-time event. Instead, I understood that learning in the IT field is a lifelong process. I committed myself to continuous learning, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies. This proactive approach helped me keep pace with the ever-evolving tech landscape.
